The Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona-1899 has once again been the epicentre of the city's social and sporting life with the celebration of the 73rd edition of the prestigious Trofeu Conde de Godó. Among the personalities who have been seen at the tournament facilities, the presence of the couple formed by the actor Victor Solé and the painter Mònica Cuscó stands out.

Solé, known for his career in the field of interpretation, and Cuscó, a rising figure in contemporary art whose work stands out for a profound exploration of color and form, enjoyed a day that combined the excellence of international tennis with the exclusive atmosphere of the Open Banc Sabadell. The couple, who share their commitment to culture and the arts, have shown their support for this historic event that has been projecting the image of Barcelona to the world since 1953.

The presence of spheres as diverse as cinema and painting in the stands of the Godó reaffirms the tournament as an indispensable meeting point for Catalan society. During the visit, Victor Solé and Mònica Cuscó were able to follow the day's matches closely, sharing moments of complicity and celebrating the sporting spirit that defines the Barcelona event.

The Málaga Film Festival, one of the most prestigious events on the current film scene, hosted the premiere of "Plañideras" in its Official Selection. This short film, starring Víctor Solé, is a raw and necessary journey into the scars of Spain's recent history.

A Story of Memory and Open Wounds

Directed by Rebeca Arnal, "Plañideras" delves into the still-visible traces of the Spanish Civil War. The film explores the persistent pain and wounds that, decades later, remain unhealed in the social and emotional fabric of families.

For Víctor Solé, participating in this project has been an honor and a commitment to the narrative of our historical memory:

"Being part of such a necessary story as 'Plañideras' and seeing it recognized in the Official Selection of Málaga is a privilege. Working under the direction of Rebeca Arnal and with such a solid production team has been a profoundly enriching experience."

High-Level Production

The short film has the backing of established names in the industry. It is produced by Carles Torras and Sergio Adrià, under the banner of the production companies Zabrieski Films and Espurna Films. The selection at the Málaga Film Festival underscores the cinematic quality and thematic relevance of this piece, positioning it as one of the standout short films of the season.

About Víctor Solé

With his participation in this festival, Víctor Solé continues to solidify his career with projects characterized by strong narratives and artistic commitment, reaffirming his presence on the most important stages of national and international cinema.
